Patio weather is here. Where to find dinner, drinks and a view in Tri-Cities

We love a good view here in the Pacific Northwest. Even after spending all day outside, sometimes it’s hard to part ways with a gorgeous day by going inside.

In Tri-Cities, we have many options for dining and drinking while enjoying the view. From large windows to decorated patios, there’s likely a spot catered to your tastes within the Tri-Cities area.

We took a look at some of the most inviting options for dining with a gorgeous view:

Pier 1 at 355 N. Clover Island Drive

If you want to experience upscale dining while on Clover Island, stop by Cedars at Pier 1 at 355 N. Clover Island Drive to look at the lounge and restaurant menus. Once you look up, you’ll look right out at the Columbia River and Cable Bridge. Outdoor seating is available with even clearer views, plus a pirate mural.

LU LU Craft Bar & Kitchen

606 Columbia Point Drive

The waterfront views continue at LU LU Craft Bar and Kitchen, situated between the Lee Volpentest Bridges and the Richland Yacht Club at 606 Columbia Point Drive. The full bar features dozens of local wines and signature martinis. The American menu includes salads, burgers and steaks, with food made fresh daily.

Anthony’s at Columbia Point

The Pacific Northwest-based seafood chain Anthony’s uses local catches in its meals. The Tri-Cities installation overlooks the Columbia Point Marina, situated right next to the Richland Marina Park at 550 Columbia Point Drive. Indoor and outdoor dining options are available, plus a separate deck used for private dining events.

Since 3 Eyed Fish has had to expand multiple times, you can find large patios with seating options for updated outdoor views. The kitchen and bar is located at 1970 Keene Road and is used as a space for private events and live music.

Fable

1705 Columbia Park Trail

The craft bar and food joint by J. Bookwalter sits right on the river, with views of the marina. Fable offers a mixed menu of elevated cuisine, signature J. Bookwalter wines and cocktails, plus rotating alcoholic slushies. The Columbia Park Trail location also hosts events and live music on occasion.

Perch Cantina

592 Columbia Point Drive

A new addition to the series of restaurants near the Columbia Point Marina, Perch offers elevated Mexican and Latin cuisine. The craft cocktail list includes nearly a dozen different margaritas, plus several non-alcoholic mocktails.

Tri-Cities drinks with a view

More interested in some light eats at a local winery or brewery? There are plenty of picturesque options for that, too.

Wheat Head Brewing Co. is the brainchild of Christina “Tina” Miller Phillips and her father, Loren Miller. The family-friendly taproom will double as a wedding venue and host farmers markets in the future.

Wheat Head Brewing Company

92308 Locust Grove Road

Sitting at an elevation around 1,500 feet, Wheat Head Brewing Company offers expansive views of the Horse Heaven Hills. The tasting room is dog- and family-friendly, and patrons can bring outside food into the establishment if they’d like, but food trucks often visit. There are 19 taps of curated sipping options, with something for every taste.

Rattlesnake Mountain Brewing Company

2696 Columbia Center Boulevard

The brewery and full restaurant also sits on the Columbia, with a great view of Bateman Island. There’s often live entertainment on Saturdays, and the location with a sports bar feel is family-friendly. Minors have to leave by 11 p.m. when there is live music, though. Enjoy scratch-made food and drinks, including home-brewed root beer.

Tagaris

844 Tulip Lane

Tagaris is one of the only places in Tri-Cities with a fully-functioning outdoor bar, located at 844 Tulip Lane. Its outdoor eating area includes a 12,000 square foot patio, a large water fountain, misters and sometimes even live music.

WIT Cellars

505 Cabernet Court

Part of Prosser’s Vintners Village, WIT Cellars has a back patio used for outside sipping and occasionally live music and other events. The winery has rotating tasting options, as well as Varietal beers available. Like the rest of Vintner’s Village, the outdoor views encapsulate the beauty of Washington wine country.
