June in Tri-Cities: Cool Desert Nights, music festivals, Pride events, more
June kicks off the busy season in Tri-Cities, full of events on the river, music festivals, pop-up markets and so much more.
You’ll be hard-pressed to find a stretch of days with nothing to do this summer, and it all starts in June.
There are several multi-day events this month as well, some returning favorites like the Richland Regatta, plus some new or revamped events like Fusion Fest.
Here’s a list of what’s going on across Tri-Cities throughout June 2025.
Multi-day June events in Tri-Cities
Several music-focused events are planned in June, starting with the annual Mushroom Fest celebration at Adventures Underground. Enjoy live performances from local artists from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on June 6 through 8 in the Caterpillar Cafe, or check out the many vendors coming to the parking lot. All three days are free and family-friendly.
The reimagined evolution of the Get Down festival series, Fusion Fest features a week of local business collaboration leading to a main event at John Dam Plaza. Wristbands are $30 for general admission ($50 for VIP) and come with perks at dozens of local businesses and events June 9 through 14, plus a better viewing area for the main event on the 14. Music will be free for the public to enjoy, with vendors and a beer garden surrounding the stage.
▪ Sacajawea Bluegrass Festival
The annual bluegrass festival held at Sacajawea State Park is held June 12 through 15, with overnight camping available for $15 per vehicle each night. Attendees should bring all the food and drinks they’ll need for their stay, as there are no vendors on site. Music and events are held throughout the weekend, featuring an open mic, contra dance and artists like Midnight 45.
The Richland Regatta features two full days of free hydroplane racing on the Columbia River through the Northwest Powerboat Association. Stop by Howard Amon Park June 14 and 15 for the action.
Enjoy free music at participating Prosser wineries June 20 through 22, choosing which artists to hear and which wines to taste.
Designed for longtime collectors and newbies alike, the PNW Collector Convention has top collectibles of all kinds, including sports cards, coins, memorabilia, trading card games and more. Stop by the Three Rivers Convention Center between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on June 21 and 22 to buy, sell, trade, or all of the above.
An annual celebration of the car and motorcycle scenes in Tri-Cities through the city of Richland and the Richland Chamber of Commerce, Cool Desert Nights is a local favorite. Festivities start with a cruise at 6 p.m. on June 27, followed by a Party in the Park at John Dam Plaza with live music, food trucks, a beer garden and more. On June 28, the Show & Shine will be held at the Uptown Plaza from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., with awards at 2 p.m.
