Permit in hand, Chick-fil-A breaks ground on 1st Tri-Cities restaurant

Chick-fil-A has started construction on its much-anticipated first Tri-Cities location.

The city of Kennewick issued a building permit for the project on Nov. 7 and within a week the site, 7009 W. Canal Drive, was fenced off. Workers could be seen breaking up the existing parking.
