Kennewick church program to explore Christian faith basics starts Jan. 28

Alpha, a new program that explores the basics of Christian faith in a friendly, open and informal environment will begin at 6 p.m. Jan. 28 at the Holy Spirit Church, 7409 W. Clearwater Ave. in Kennewick.

Run over 11 weeks, each session will examine a different question that people can have about faith and is designed to create conversation. Topics include, “Is There More to Life Than This?” “Who is Jesus?” “Why and How Do I Pray?” and “How Does God Guide Us?”

The program will run from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursdays at the activity center. The program includes a meal, a short talk or video on the Christian faith, and time dedicated to small-group discussion. Anyone 15 years old or older is invited to attend, regardless of faith base or spiritual level.
