St. Lorenzo Ruiz feast day celebration set Sept. 26 in Kennewick

A celebration marking the feast day of St. Lorenzo Ruiz, the first Filipino saint, is planned Sept. 26 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 520 S. Garfield St., Kennewick.

Mass starts at 11 a.m.

Bishop Joseph J. Tyson will be the main celebrant, with Father Rolly Amoy, Father Rex Familiar and Deacon Fred Jocson also on hand.

A potluck lunch will follow Mass. A Filipino-American dance troupe and others will perform.
