Meet the wineries in our area that a panel of experts nominated – one for best restaurant and the other for best wine club.

Terra Blanca

Nominated for the Best Winery Restaurant award, Terra Blanca’s Vineyard Grill is up against 19 other restaurants, three others that are located here in Washington.

Their Red Mountain site at 34715 N. Demoss Rd., Benton City, isn’t new to this game. They previously were ranked the seventh Best Winery Restaurant of 2024 by USA Today, according to their website.

The Grill’s menu ranges from fig and Chevre bruschetta and various boards to signature salads, sandwiches and brick oven pizzas.

Most items on the menu also have a suggested wine pairing present, so you know just what to order with your meal.

Terra Blanca began in 1993 with the purchase of 300 acres of property, according to the website. From there, the winery continued to expand, with a new facility and barrel caves opening in 2006.

Frichette Winery

This Benton City winery is nominated for Best Wine Club.

Nominated by a panel of experts, Frichette is up against wine clubs from all over, hoping to find the Top 10 wine clubs.

The winery at 39412 N. Sunset Rd., Benton City, offers two different clubs for their members to join: the Signature Cru and Reserve Cru.

The Signature Cru club is for those “curious about Frichette,” according to the website.

Customers receive two wines each quarter at this tier, priority tickets to wine events and discounts on wine purchases and shipping.

The husband and wife team of Greg and Shae Frichette opened their tasting room in 2013 and now produce almost 3,000 cases of wine, according to their website.
