BBQ and whiskey tasting event supports Tri-Cities therapy horses

Therapeutic Riding of Tri-Cities or TROT will hold a barbecue and whiskey release to support its mission.

Saddles & Spirits is 4-9 p.m., May 2, at Fiction Restaurant, 894 Tulip Lane, Richland, at J. Bookwalter Winery.

The 21 and over program includes dinner, a whiskey release and live music.

Tickets are $65 and include a choice of roasted pork or smoked half chicken with barbecue sides and peach cobbler.

There will also be cocktail flights and an opportunity to purchase the newly-released Novel Spirits Club Woodford Reserve barrel release. Attendees will be able to meet TROT’s therapy horses in person as well.

TROT uses riding therapy to support children, adults, veterans and others with disabilities.
