The Spudnut Shop is one of the most beloved businesses in the Tri-Cities.

It opened in 1948 and remained in the same family until 2023.

It’s spot in the south end of the Uptown Shopping Center has been a beloved destination for its famous potato flour donuts and lunch for generations.

The expansion to Kennewick and Pasco comes a year after it was sold to a couple of “Richland guys” who vowed to retain the Spudnut spirit while extending the brand.

Mike Bishop and Ryan Pierson bought the business from Val Driver, whose father and uncle started Spudnut in 1948.

Driver worked in the family business for 53 years and decided to retire shortly after it celebrated its 75th anniversary.
