We asked readers what their favorite local breakfast spot in the Tri-Cities was, and the results are in.

Whether it’s somewhere you swear by for brunch or just a good old fashioned diner, Tri-Citians seem pretty loyal to their favorites.

Centrally located near Bateman Island at 1633 Columbia Park Trail, SagePort is a great place to grab a bite before a walk along the waterfront.

And it’s no wonder they’re so beloved, no one does French Toast quite like SagePort Grille. Their flavorful french toast comes in favorites such as orange, PB&J, churro and even chocolate and mascarpone cheese stuffed.

Not to mention The Elvis, which has bananas, peanut butter and honey drizzle and is topped with bacon.

They also have a full menu of traditional breakfast, omelets and Eggs Benedict.

In second place with 17% of the vote was Sterling’s.

At Sterling’s they do it all. The local favorite has a massive menu, with something sure to please everyone. They open early, at 6:30 a.m., and have expansive menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Sterling’s has three locations in the Tri-Cities: 3200 W. Clearwater Ave in Kennewick and in Richland at 890 George Washington Way and 2500 Queensgate Dr.

Rounding out the top five were Original Pancake House, Magill’s and Andy’s North.

While the list of options was long, plenty of Tri-Citians had a different favorite in mind.

Some of the top write-ins were Lil’ Moon Diner in West Richland, Player’s Sports Bar and Grill and the Sports Page Bar and Grill.

One thing is for certain though, no matter where you are in the Tri-Cities, you’re never far from a great place to start the day.
