Richland lounge hosts creative writing workshop sponsored by diversity council

Aub’s Lounge, a banana bread and poetry lounge near Howard Amon Park in Richland, will offering a free creative writing workshop Saturday, Aug. 17 in conjunction with the Tri-Cities Diversity and Inclusion Council.

“Unapologetically You!” is hosted by impact poet JuruDaWise and features author and poet Anyla McDonald.

It is billed as a forum for self-expression and exploration of poetry and short stories.

Participants of all ages, ethnicities, genders and sexualities are invited to connect with fellow writers, to discuss their work and hear feedback.

Aub’s Lounge, home of Aub’s Bananza Bread, is at 710 George Washington Way, Suite AA.
