Advance tickets sold out for iconic band at Tri-Cities fair. Here’s what’s still left

Coming to the Benton Fairgrounds August 20 through 24, fair season is on our heels. The Benton Franklin Fair and Rodeo has a full itinerary for 2024, including standard rides, exhibits and vendors, plus the Hayden Homes Summer Concert Series and the full Horse Heaven Round-Up.

This year’s concert lineup includes iconic groups like The Beach Boys and The Goo Goo Dolls.

You can watch concerts from a first-come, first-served lawn area with just your general fair admission. To ensure a seat, you can order additional tickets for better seats online, but you’ll still need to purchase fair admission.

One-day admission to the fair is discounted for pre-sales, at $13 for adults and $5 for youth and seniors.

Advance tickets for The Goo Goo Dolls are officially sold out, leaving only day-of general admission options.

But the other concerts still have ticket options available. Here’s what you can still order, while supplies last.

Fair concert tickets in Tri-Cities

Tickets can be ordered online for the fair, concerts and rodeo. For concerts, a maximum of four tickets is allowed per order. Each is slotted for 7:45 p.m.

Beyond general admission seating, there are three sections of reserved seating just ahead, which comes with a reserved chair on the grass. There is bar access in these sections, but no bathroom. Each section includes ADA accessible and ADA companion seats.

VIP seating is to the left of the reserved seating, with a full VIP area beyond that. VIP tickets can be used for standing room in the area, or one of the first-come, first served seats within VIP. The larger VIP area includes bar access and a luxury bathroom trailer.

The Fan Zone is standing room only, directly in front of the stage. No chairs are allowed and dancing is encouraged. There is a separate entrance for the fan zone, as well as bar and bathroom access.

Here are the available sections, and their prices per ticket, for each show.

▪ The Beach Boys - August 21

▪ Josh Turner - August 22

Reserved Seat: $30
ADA accessible/companion seats: $30

The VIP section is sold out.

▪ The Goo Goo Dolls - August 23

Only day-of general admission seating and standing room is available.

▪ La Original Banda el Limon - August 24

Fan Zone: $40
VIP: $60

Rodeo, demolition derby tickets in Tri-Cities

▪ Demolition Derby

The demolition derby is held before the fair officially begins, on August 17. Gates open at 4 p.m., time trials start at 6:30 p.m. and races an hour later. Demolition follows the races.

No fair admission is required for general demolition derby admission. A maximum of eight tickets can be purchased at once.

Currently, there are only seats available in the Silver Bullet section, which has ADA accessible and ADA companion seat options. Depending on the seat location, Silver Bullet tickets (ADA accessible or not) range from $15 to $22.

▪ Horse Heaven Round-Up

The rodeo is slated for 7 p.m. each day. Fair admission is required to attend, and purchasing rodeo tickets does not constitute fair admission.
