Where was Pasco High’s hip hop team on the season premiere of America’s Got Talent?
If you missed the season premiere of America’s Got Talent on Tuesday evening and were hoping to see the Pasco High School Schwanna Bulldogs make their TV debut, you’re in luck.
Even though the dance team didn’t perform on the new season’s first episode, an AGT spokesperson told the Tri-City Herald the group will appear in a later episode. The date hasn’t been released yet.
Tuesday’s 17th year premiere included a variety of acts ranging from a young girl who trained her dogs to ride scooters to a man singing about his love for cheese.
The four celebrity judges and host Terry Crews all have one “golden buzzer,” which allows an act to go on to the live shows while skipping the second audition rounds. Crews used his “golden buzzer” for a 21-year-old saxophone player who wow the crowd with his performance and his emotional backstory of being bullied.
Even though many acts advanced to the second round of auditions, the Schwanna Bulldogs hip-hop team is patiently waiting for everyone to see if they made it through as well.
The award-winning team is known for its upbeat dance routines, but is sworn to secrecy about how their audition fared until their performance airs.
The winner of the NBC hit show earns $1 million and the chance to perform on America’s Got Talent Las Vegas Live.
