Former Tri-City American Colton Yellow Horn, of HC Orli Znojmo, was named MVP of the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga.

Yellow Horn, 28, is the first HC Orli Znojmo player to win the award.

A native of Brocket, Alberta, Yellow Horn had 35 goals and 43 assists this season, leading his team to the finals and helping it qualify for the Champions Hockey League.

HC Orli Znojmo is a Czech-based team that plays in the Austrian Hockey League.
