Tri-City Americans goalie Evan Sarthou and defenseman Dylan Coughlan were among the 40 WHL players named to the Central Scouting’s Players to Watch list Tuesday for the 2016 NHL draft.

Sarthou has a “B” rating, indicating a recommendation for selection in the second or third rounds. Coughlan was rated “C” for the fourth round or later.

The WHL has four A-rated, first-round recommendations: defenseman Kale Clague of Brandon, center Sam Steel of Regina, defenseman Maxime Lajoie of Swift Current and winger Tyler Benson of Vancouver.

The Americans make their home debut Saturday against the Spokane Chiefs at 7:05 p.m. the Toyota Center.
