Dea, Americans shut out Kootenay Ice in preseason game
Patrick Dea turned aside 25 shots, and Carson Focht had a goal and two assists as the Tri-City Americans shut out the Kootenay Ice 6-0 in preseason action Tuesday at Toyota Center.
Tri-City had six players score goals, including Nolan Yaremko with his team-leading 10th early in the second period.
Sasha Mutala, Parker AuCoin, Sergei Sapego and Roman Kalinichenko also scored for the Americans. Jordan Topping, just back from the Ottawa Senators training camp, added two assists.
The Americans will host Spokane in a preseason game at 7:05 p.m. Saturday.
