Eric Comrie to get NHL start Thursday against the Columbus Blue Jackets

The Winnipeg Jets recalled former Tri-City Americans goaltender Eric Comrie from the Manitoba Moose, and plan to start him Thursday against the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Comrie, 21, is in his second season with the Moose. In 47 games this season, Comrie is 17-25-2 with a 2.98 goals-against average, .906 save percentage and two shutouts.

He’s faced 1,443 shots this season, which is the second-most in the AHL. He represented the Moose at the 2016 AHL All-Star Game last season.
