Fever signs ex-CFL wide receiver Foster

The Tri-Cities Fever has signed wide receiver Akeem Foster.

Foster played all four years of college football at St. Francis Xavier in Canada, where he was an All-Canadian First Team Player.

He was drafted in 2010 as the 25th overall pick of the BC Lions.

In 2011 with the BC Lions, he had 33 catches 593 yards and 6 touchdowns.

He was part of the Grey Cup Championship team in 2011.

In his five-year CFL career, Foster had 69 catches, 1,020 yards and 9 touchdowns.
