The 12-team Indoor Football League set new divisional and conference alignments during last week’s league meetings in Las Vegas.
Starting in 2016, the Tri-Cities Fever will play in the Intense Conference’s West Division, along with the Billings Wolves and the Spokane Shock.
The Intense Conference’s Central Division will consist of the Colorado Crush, Nebraska Danger and Wichita Falls Nighthawks.
The United Conference will have a North Division (Bemidji Axemen, Cedar Rapids Titans and Green Bay Blizzard) and a Midwest Division (Iowa Barnstormers, Minnesota Havok and Sioux Falls Storm).
Each division champion and one wild-card team from each conference will make the postseason.
The top seed in each conference will get a first-round playoff bye.
