The Kennewick Outlaws, who outscored their opponents by 43 runs in their first three games at the American Legion AAA Northwest Regional Tournament American Legion AAA Northwest Regional Tournament in Cheyenne, Wyo., had the tables turned on them Saturday.

Behind a hot-hitting lineup, the Medford (Ore.) Mustangs beat the Outlaws 17-2 and ended Kennewick’s 19-game winning streak.

Despite Saturday’s outcome, the Outlaws (53-14) already had secured a spot in the championship game, which is scheduled for 3 p.m. Sunday. They will play the winner of the noon matchup between Medford and Bellingham Post 7.

Kennewick’s AJ Dixon took the loss after allowing 10 runs on 10 hits in 5 2/3 innings.
