Mid-Columbia roundup: Fever head to Billings, hope to halt IFL skid

Fever hope to end skid at Billings

The Tri-Cities Fever hit the road Saturday in hopes of ending a seven-game losing streak.

The Fever (3-11) play at the Billings Wolves (6-8) at 6:05 p.m. in IFL action.

The teams split their earlier meetings, each winning at home. Tri-Cities won 47-41 on March 5, while Billings took a 49-44 decision on May 14.

The playoff-bound Wolves hold the No. 2 spot in the Intense Conference. The Fever’s playoff hopes ended with last week’s loss at Green Bay.
