Roaring to go: Weekend full of auto races rumble at Tri-City Raceway
There’s nothing like a day at the races, and this weekend Tri-Cities auto racing fans had several opportunities to enjoy the spectacle. The Tri-City Raceway at Red Mountain Event Center hosted the 53rd Annual Bonney’s Bronson Tractors Apple Cup, presented by Legends Casino Hotel, this weekend.
The event, which ran through Sunday, kicked off Friday afternoon with a meet and greet autograph session with about 100 drivers.
Race Schedule
On Saturday, Pro Late Models started, followed by the Bettarel Hobby Stocks, Part 1. Ending the day were the Speed Tour Modifieds.
On Sunday, the Super Late Models opened the day’s racing, followed by Mini Stocks. Part 2 of the Bettarel Hobby Stocks completed the weekend’s event.
If you couldn’t make the races this weekend, there will be at least three more events later this year.
The Thunder on the Mountain event, featuring the Malicious Monster Truck Tour, will be held July 3-4 and the Night of Thrills, featuring Bump To Pass Nationals is set for Aug. 6-7.
The 35th Annual Fall Classic will be held Oct. 1-2.
