Dust Devils top AquaSox 9-3 in rain-shortened game
The Tri-City Dust Devils escaped an early deficit to record a 9-3 rain-shortened Northwest League victory over the Everett AquaSox on Saturday at Memorial Stadium.
Tri-City trailed 2-1 in the first inning after the first of Alex Jackson’s two home runs, but the Dust Devils (14-17) scored five runs in the top of the fourth — three of them on Justin Pacchioli’s three-run double to left.
Angel Mejia (5-3) tossed all five innings for the Dust Devils, allowing three runs on just five hits to get the win. Luiz Gohara (3-6) took the loss for the AquaSox.
