Volleyball: Tri-Cities Prep ties for third at SunDome Invitational

The Tri-Cities Prep volleyball team tied for third Friday at the SunDome tournament in Yakima.

Tri-Cities Prep swept Royal and Entiat, and split with West Valley junior varsity to take the No. 1 seed into the top bracket. The Jaguars then beat Newport (Spokane) in straight sets to reach the semifinals, where they lost to Naches Valley 12-25, 25-8, 15-8.

Tri-Cities Prep’s Corinne Barnett had 27 kills and 17 blocks for the tournament, and Mary Seiner finished with 51 digs.
