Tri-City volleyball teams go 1-3 at girls Jr. Nationals

The Club Gold 13 Blue team dropped three matches during the first day of pool play at the USA Volleyball Girls Junior National tournament in Minneapolis, Minn.

Club Gold 13 Blue lost its first match 25-23, 25-11 to HJV 13 Elite out of Houston, Texas and then fell 25-18, 25-20 to Arizona Storm 13 Thunder.

Club Gold then lost to CTV 13 Red 25-15, 25-10.

The 13 Blue squad will finish out pool play with two more games today.

The 12 Blue team will begin pool play today with two games, followed by three more Saturday.

The Shockwave U15 split two matches, beating Wisconsin Ice 15 Purple 25-19, 25-20 after dropping their first match to ECJVC 15 Black 25-23, 25-14.
