Blue Mountain volleyball stays unbeaten

Blue Mountain advanced to the winners bracket finals at the NWAACC Volleyball Championship in Gresham, Ore., on Friday

Blue Mountain beat Highline 3-1.

Pasco High grad Sierra Linke had 15 kills and 16 digs for the T-Wolves.

The Timberwolves also beat Clackamas 3-1.

Crystal Schmidt, a Hermiston High grad, had a game-high 15 kills for the T-Wolves.

Linke had 12 kills and 16 digs for Blue Mountain in the victory.

Meanwhile, Spokane stayed alive in the loser’s bracket, beating Bellevue 2-0.

Kennewick High grad Madison Zinsli had 20 assists for the Sasquatch.

The Sasquatch will continue tournament play at 10 a.m. today against Clackamas.
