Chiawana's Jaymee Steach picked as MCC volleyball MVP
Chiawana senior setter Jaymee Steach, who helped the Riverhawks tie for first place this season with the Richland Bombers, was named the Mid-Columbia Conference’s volleyball MVP.
Steach was joined on the first team by two of her Chiawana teammates, senior middle hitter Madison Powers and junior hitter Shantelle Hill.
Richland’s Bob Raidl was chosen as the Coach of the Year. The Bombers (12-2) took the No. 1 seed after beating Chiawana twice during the regular season.
