Prep girls soccer roundup: Hanford blanks Eisenhower 7-0

Taylor Matheny scored a pair of goals, and Lindsey Littlejohn had a goal and an assist as host Hanford shut out Eisenhower 7-0 in nonleague play Thursday.

The Falcons, who led 1-0 at halftime, poured in six goals over the final 40 minutes. They limited Eisenhower to just four shots on goal for the game.

Southridge 4, Davis 1: The Suns fell behind in the third minute, but it didn’t take long for them to find their offense in a nonleague home win over the Pirates.

Nicole Edwards scored in the 10th minute on an assist from Kendall Pope, and Emily Dirham put Southridge ahead for good in the 37th minute.

Dirham capped the Suns’ scoring with a goal in the 76th minute.
