Roundup: Radliff nets 38 as Richland downs Prairie 67-61
There was already one high-profile guard on the Richland Bombers in BYU-bound Steven Beo.
Now Landon Radliff is making his own headlines, the latest being a 38-point performance in a 67-61 win over Prairie on Friday in the Tacoma Winter Classic semifinals.
Radliff went 8-for-13 from 3-point range for a career-high 38 points. He also led the Bombers with eight rebounds and four assists. Beo added 20 points as the pair combined for 58 of the team’s 67 points.
Richland (4-1) will play the Curtis/Post Falls winner for the tournament championship at 7 p.m. today.

KAMIAKIN 72, PASCO 43: Hayden Nelson scored a game-high 19 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to lead the Braves in the Mid-Columbia Conference opener for both schools.
“It was a good start for us,” said Kamiakin coach Brian Meneely.
The Braves, already up 20-13 after one quarter, outscored the Bulldogs 17-9 in the second to take a comfortable lead.
Isaiah Brimmer added 15 points and four assists for the Braves, while teammate Garrett Paxton also had 15 points.
Sebastian Gutierrez led the Bulldogs with 19 points, while Diego Gutierrez added 10.

BEST OF THE WEST: Newberg of Oregon won the team dual portion of the annual tournament at Pasco High, beating Clarkston 45-32 in the final.
Kamiakin, which lost to Clarkston 48-32 in the semifinals, placed third with a 47-37 win over Ellensburg. Austin Almaguer (113 pounds), Riley Gurr (120) and Jesus Ramos (126) strung together consecutive pins for a big scoring boost for the Braves. Jacob Lawson (160) and Nick Little (285) also ended their matches early.
The individual portion of the tournament runs today.
