Kamiakin’s Oumou Toure named WIAA Athlete of the Week

Kamiakin girls basketball player Oumou Toure was named a WIAA Athlete of the Week after leading the Braves to a pair of Mid-Columbia Conference wins last week.

Toure had 23 points, 15 rebounds, four assists and four steals in a win over Walla Walla, then turned around the following night for a 22-point game against Chiawana, that also saw her haul down 20 rebounds, hand out six assists and record three steals.
