Baseball: Stanfield tops Dufur

Stanfield 4, Dufur 3: Tony Flores scored on an error in the bottom of the fifth inning to give the Tigers the lead for good in a nonleague win over the Rangers in Stanfield.

Dylan Grogan drew a bases-loaded walk to in the fourth to tie the game at 3-3.

Bryce Linker (7-0) threw a complete game for the Tigers (19-6), striking out nine and walking two.

Stanfield will host Harrisburg at 2 p.m. Friday in a nonleague doubleheader. The Eastern Oregon League champions Tigers will begin state play Wednesday at home. Their opponent has not been determined.
