Kamiakin baseball drops playoff game
Drew Rasmussen pitched a complete game, striking out 13, and hit a two-run home run in the first inning to lead Mt. Spokane over visiting Kamiakin 7-3 in a District 5/8 baseball loser-out game Tuesday.
Connor Cantu and Cooper Smith each went 3-for 4-for the Wildcats (17-4).
David Marshall went the distance for the Braves (6-15) and had two of Kamiakin’s four hits.
Hayden Burris and Jaden Green also had hits for the Braves.
