PREP BASEBALL: Walla Walla opens season with win at Pendleton
Zac Zehner pitched three innings and smacked a three-run home run in the first inning to spark Walla Walla to a 10-8 nonleague win over host Pendleton in the Blue Devils' season opener Thursday.
Reid Magnaghi added a triple, a solo home run and three RBIs for Wa-Hi. Blake McKinney pitched a scoreless seventh inning to record the save.
