Prep golf: Richland boys win Inland Empire
Carl Underwood finished second, leading the Richland boys to the Inland Empire title Monday at Indian Canyon Golf Course in Spokane.
Underwood shot a 2-under-par 69 and finished tied with Mitchell Weipert of Shadle Park, but Weipert took medalist honors after winning a playoff.
Evan Hattori finished fifth overall for the Bombers, who had 303 points. Second place Central Valley was at 312. Kamiakin, behind McGwire Hanson’s 74, was sixth at 322.
