Mid-Columbia boys roundup for Jan. 29: Richland hoops 10-0 in MCC; Chiawana wrestlers beat Pasco
Landon Radliff had 26 points, and Steven Beo finished with 24 as the Richland boys basketball team improved to 10-0 in the Mid-Columbia Conference with Friday night’s 78-60 win at Southridge.
The teams were tied at 14 at the end of the first quarter, but Richland (13-3 overall) outscored Southridge 24-10 in the second.
Beo was sterling at the free-throw line, going 15-of-16 for the game.
Trevor McLaughlin led Southridge (8-9, 6-5) with 19 points and eight rebounds.

KAMIAKIN 66, KENNEWICK 39: Garrett Paxton scored a game-high 22 points with 10 rebounds to lead the Braves to a home win over the Lions in MCC action.
Kennewick (9-8, 5-6 MCC) led 12-8 after the first quarter, but Kamiakin (14-3, 8-3) rallied with 42 points over the next two quarters.
“We had good shots early; they just weren’t going in,” Kamiakin coach Brian Meneely said. “But they stayed with it. Our offense got going, and we got the ball inside. We had good balance tonight.”
Isaiah Brimmer added 11 points, nine rebounds and seven assists for the Braves, who have won four in a row.
Kafaya Bugal led the Lions with 14 points, while Nico Benavidez added 10.
