Mid-Columbia roundup for Dec. 9: Kamiakin wrestlers rack up pins in win over Hanford
The Kamiakin Braves recorded nine pins in a 57-22 Mid-Columbia Conference road win over the Hanford Falcons on Wednesday night.
Braves 120-pounder Riley Gurr took 17 seconds to pin Glenn Seikawitch, and Luke Eskelsen went down to the wire with Austin Dreyer at 195 before Eskelsen recorded the pin with 7 seconds remaining in the match.
For Hanford, David Graham got a 13-5 major decision over Liam Walker at 138, and freshman Jonathan Burt (220) improved to 4-1 with a pin of Tristan Barnett in 5:41.

Kamiakin’s Saige Polanik won the all-around as the two-time defending Class 1A/2A/3A state champion Braves began the Mid-Columbia Conference season with a team victory at Southridge.
Polanik won the floor with a 9.1, while her sister Piper was first on vault and beam. Kamiakin’s Sophia Mancinelli won on bars.
The Suns’ Mackinley Morgan finished third on the floor and fourth on vault.
