Kamiakin harriers win Sundodger Invite

Kamiakin outscored Gig Harbor 59-63 to win the boys’ high school varsity division team title at the Sundodger Invitational cross country meet Saturday in Seattle.

Phillip Fishburn placed third overall to lead the Braves. Fishburn covered the 5-kilometer course in Seattle’s Lincoln Park in 15 minutes, 23.62 seconds.

Walla Walla’s Erika Leinweber was the highest-placing Mid-Columbia girl placer at 11th.
