Low cost sports physicals are back for Tri-Cities area students. Have your $10 ready
Sports physicals will be offered for only $10 to Tri-Cities area middle and high school students Saturday, May 14.
No health insurance is needed for the clinic organized by Lourdes Health in Pasco and Trios Health in Kennewick.
The event will be 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 521 N. Young St., in Kennewick.
Doctors and other employees at the two hospitals, Lourdes Physician Clinics and Trios Medical Group will donate their time, and the fees collected will be donated back to students’ schools.
“Trios Health started this clinic more than 20 years ago and has been able to give back thousands of dollars to our local schools for the purchase of athletic safety equipment,” said Lorie Orozco, director of Trios Medical Group Operations. “The sports physical clinic offers a great opportunity for our community to get to know our providers at Trios and Lourdes and have this service be accessible and affordable for our community.”
Cash or checks made out to Trios Health will be required for payment. The Kennewick, Pasco and Richland school districts have sports physical forms, but students from other schools are welcome. The forms, which also may be downloaded at TriosHealth.org/Sports-Physicals, should be filled out and brought to the event.
Participants will be required to wear face masks and students should have their contacts or glasses with them for vision checks.
