18 Tri-Cities area basketball teams looking for WA wins

The Mid-Columbia has 18 high school basketball teams alive in the postseason, which continues until March 5.

There are plenty of high school playoffs this weekend, including five games at Richland High School — two on Friday night, and three more on Saturday afternoon. See the schedule below for more details.

Quick tip: It looks like no one is taking cash or cards for tickets at the game site. Instead, people should go to the WIAA website and purchase tickets online.

I was at the Kennewick boys game Tuesday night, and the line was long as staffers helped people purchase tickets online on their phones.
