Cross country

Kamiakin at Tracy Walters Invite: Ryan Childs posted the winning time in 15:55, leading the defending state champion Braves to a first-place team finish with 68 points, miles ahead of second-place Lewis & Clark (169) and third-place North Central (177).

Kamiakin’s Stanford Smith finished third, Porter Grigg fifth, and Isaac Teeples and Jax Weide seventh and eighth. Southridge’s Tristan Robinson was 10th.

Highlander Invite: Kennewick’s Johan Correa won against top competition, finishing in 12:31.96.
