Suns golfers rule at MCC girls, boys pod match
Southridge freshman Samantha Hui carded a 10-over 82 to earn medalist honors, edging out Pasco’s Jalayne Martinez by one stroke at the Mid-Columbia Conference girls golf match Monday at Meadow Springs Country Club in Richland.
Not far behind with an 84 was Richland’s Danika Palm, who led the Bombers in the team scoring at 382.

MCC boys pod: Southridge’s Austin Brown finished at 6-under 78 to stave off Walla Walla’s Parker Dressler and Richland’s Carl Underwood, who tied at 85 at the MCC boys pod match at Meadow Springs.
McGwire Hanson and Ike Wilbur of Kamiakin, and Tyler Morrison of Walla Walla were tied for fourth with an 87.
The Braves and Blue Devils tied for best team score at 353, topping Richland at 361.
