Golf: Pasco’s Martinez wins Wenatchee Valley title

Pasco’s Jalayne Martinez took 3A/4A medalist honors with a 73, while Richland edged Kamiakin for the team title in Friday’s Wenatchee Valley Invite at Highlander Golf Course in East Wenatchee.

Richland’s Kea Robinson shot a 79, tying for fourth with Southridge’s Taylor Hood and Kamiakin teammates Alexa Clark and Mia Johnson. The Bombers also got an eighth-place tie from Macy Robinson and Brianna Watts at 82.

Richland finished with a 243 to Kamiakin’s 244.
