At least 8 EWU regular season football games to air locally
The first two games of the Eastern Washington University football team’s season will be televised, and at least eight of the Eagles’ 11 regular season games will be available locally, the school announced Friday in a news release.
Eastern begins the season at 1 p.m. Sept. 2 at Texas Tech, which will be available on ROOT Sports, and the home opener on Sept. 9 against North Dakota State will be on SWX and online on ESPN3.
SWX will broadcast three more EWU games throughout the season — and possibly the Nov. 11 game at North Dakota — and ROOT will carry two. The Oct. 21 game at Southern Utah will be on Eleven Sports (HD Channel 892 on Charter Spectrum).
The Eagles’ full schedule, with broadcast information, can be found at GoEags.com.
