College basketball: CBC men lose to Linn-Benton
Andrew Reddout had a standout game, scoring 25 points, grabbing nine rebounds and dishing off six assists, but it wasn’t enough as the Columbia Basin College men’s basketball team lost 86-83 in overtime to Linn-Benton in the consolation championships at the Yakima Valley Crossover Tournament on Saturday.
Makai Hirai added 17 points for the Hawks, who held a 42-28 halftime lead.
Brad Scott had a double-double for CBC, scoring 13 points and grabbing 10 boards.

EDMONDS MEN 87, WALLA WALLA 86 (2 OT): Devan Kohn and Dalton Thompson each scored 22 points, but it wasn’t enough as the Walla Walla men lost to Edmonds in double overtime in the third-place game of the South Puget Sound Crossover.
Kennewick High grad Mitch Mueller added 11 points for the Warriors.

The Hawks will play Linn-Benton at 10 a.m. today in the consolation final.
