CBC men's soccer ties Everett
Fredy Rodriguez scored off an assist from Kurtis Spotted Bear in the 85th minute, allowing the Columbia Basin College men’s soccer team to tie with Everett 1-1 on Tuesday in an NWAC match at the Starfire Sports Complex in Tukwila.
CBC keeper Lupe Arceo had 10 saves in the match. The Hawks will play Tacoma at 4:30 p.m. today.
w Debra Hulse scored an unassisted goal in the 40th minute, but it wasn’t enough as Columbia Basin College’s women lost 2-1 to Everett in Tukwila. Sydnee Grant had seven saves in goal for the Hawks.
w Francisco Sanchez and Austin Herrick each scored goals, but it wasn’t enough as the Walla Walla Community College men lost 5-2 to Skagit Valley in NWAC play in Tukwila.
w Oryian Matheny scored a goal in the opening minute, but that was all Walla Walla Community College’s women could get, and the Warriors lost 2-1 to Edmonds in NWAC women’s soccer play in Tukwila.
