CBC baseball ousted from NWAACCs
The Columbia Basin College baseball team dropped its first two games and was eliminated from the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges tournament in Longview.
The Hawks fell to Pierce 5-0 late Thursday night to drop into the losers bracket.
An almost 7-hour rain delay on Friday pushed back CBC’s loser-out contest against Lane, and the Hawks fell 6-0.
Against Pierce, Dalton Johnson led CBC with three hits, while Ryan Atkinson added two.
In the loss to Lane, CBC’s Tucker Ibabao had two hits, including a double.CBC finished the season with a 28-17 record.
