Warden grad leads Wenatchee Valley softball to sweep

Warden graduate Iris Rodriguez was 2-for-4 with a double and four RBIs on Saturday as the Wenatchee Valley softball team rallied past Walla Walla with three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning of the opener of an NWAACC East doubleheader.

The Knights topped the Warriors 12-11 and 9-3 in Wenatchee.

Rodriguez, a freshman, added an RBI single in the nightcap as Wenatchee Valley swept Walla Walla.

Kendyl Hamilton was 3-for-5 with four RBIs in the opener for the Warriors.
