CBC softball splits with Wenatchee
Janelle Randles pitched a complete-game victory and helped herself at the plate with three hits, including a grand slam, as host Columbia Basin beat Wenatchee Valley 11-7 in an NWAACC East softball game Sunday in Pasco.
Randles finished with five RBIs in the game.
Alexis Salcedo added four hits for the Hawks, 5-3 in NWAACC play.
Wenatchee Valley came back to win the nightcap 9-2. Salcedo had three more hits for the Hawks in the loss.

w Brook Simpson went 2-for-4 with a double, home run and three RBIs to lead Walla Walla CC over visiting Wenatchee Valley 6-3 on Saturday in NWAACC softball.
Wa-Hi grad Paige Pontorolo had two hits and three RBIs in the nightcap, but it wasn’t enough as Walla Walla lost 8-5 to Wenatchee Valley.
