These Key Los Angeles Rams Are Who To Watch At OTA's

The Los Angeles Rams Will Be Reporting To Training Camp on July 25th Here's Who To Watch This Year

The date is set and the Rams will be at Loyola Marymount University on Thursday June 25th. Integrating the more in-depth schemes and calls that will be going into the 2026 season for both rookies and newly acquired veterans alike. With it starting in a few days lets break down who to watch out for this year.

1. TE Max Klare

The Rams only have five rookies they drafted in this year's draft. That being said they had to surgically dissect it and select key contributors that could potentially make an impact in their rookie season. Though some controversial like taking Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson, but others like Ohio State's tight end Max Klare are getting recognition by Super Bowl Champion Andrew Whitworth saying he is a "big slot" according to Andrew Hughes of FanSided's Scarlet & Game.

Klare's ability to catch the ball and make defenders miss in space gives Klare a real chance to be a mismatch for opposing linebackers in Sean McVay's 13 personnel system. While others like Colby Parkinson and Tyler Higbee lock down chipblocking, Max Klare with Terrance Ferguson can break the defense at their seam and potentially make big plays this coming year. Expect to see Klare multiple packages.

2. WR CJ Daniels

Daniels is a weapon, first and foremost. His 6'2 frame at 205lbs gives him the size and strength to really be a big slot along with Max Klare. But Daniels key attribute is his ability to break away and create huge separation on routes and he is very good at catching the ball. I expect him to be among a rotation in the slot with Puka Nacua, Jordan Whittington and Max Klare potentially stealing snaps from Konata Mumpfield.

If CJ comes into OTA and the Preseason and out works Whittingson and Mumpfield there would be no argument that they should have drafted Mekai Lemon at all.

3. OL Keagan Trost

Keegan is an interesting name on this list because he comes in as the guy who would be the fill in for guard and center even though ESPN has him behind Warren McClendon at Right Tackle. But that room is crowded with the likes of Beaux Limmer, Justin Dedich and David Quessenberry being able to play both tackle spots. Still he may get a lot of looks after Star left tackle Alaric Jackson potentially facing a suspension from the league. That would allow McClendon to slide over to the left and Trost getting the start on the right side for the time that Jackson could be suspended for.

Everyone of these rookies have real potential to make an impact early this year for the Rams and are truly some of the players fans should be really looking at this year. Their contributions could be the difference between a Super Bowl or bust.
