Who are the Commentators for the Norway vs. Senegal World Cup Game?

Norway vs Senegal is one of the matches of matchweek 2 of the 2026 World Cup. Both teams are in Group I with France and Iraq.

Both teams need to win, especially Senegal, as a loss would mean that they would be eliminated from the World Cup. They are currently on zero points.

On the other side, Norway will need a win to secure the knockout stages of the tournament following their 4-1 win over Iraq last week.

The match will be covered by two legends of the game in different aspects. USMNT legend Landon Donovan will be the match analyst, along with the legendary play-by-play commentator Ian Darke.

Ian Darke will be commenating on his 6th World Cup of his career after doing so for the 1994, 2010, 2014, 2018, and 2022 World Cups. Recently, he has been commenting on La Liga games for ESPN.

Donovan played in three World Cups for the USMNT and is considered the greatest American soccer player of all time. Donovan has spent the past few years as part of commentary teams for tournaments like the EUROS and now the World Cup.

Ian Darke and Landon Donovan have already called games in the 2026 World Cup. Some of the matches they called together were France vs. Senegal, Germany vs. Curaçao, and the opening match of the tournament, Mexico vs. South Africa.
