Spencer Tibbits of Vancouver finishes with 3-over 73, ties for 61st at U.S. Open golf championship

Spencer Tibbits from Vancouver finished the U.S. Open golf championship it a tie for 61st after finishing with a 3-over 73 during Sunday's final round.

The former Fort Vancouver High School and Oregon State golfer had his best round with a 2-under 68 in the first round before scrambling to make the cut with a 4-over 74 in the second round.

Saturday was Tibbits most challenging day, shooting a 6-over 76.

He finished at 11-over 291, 15 shot behind champion Wyndham Clark.
